What’s been happening:

After thirty years as a research chemist and research supervisor at the Bureau of Mines' Albany Research Center, I retired in 1996. I then consulted for five years. Since then, I have been traveling extensively, restoring old cars, hiking, snowshoeing, camping, playing horn in a concert band, writing articles for various hobby magazines, and exhibiting philatelic material nationally.
